I spent one day exploring the botanical gardens in Christchurch. It was such a beautiful area and had many different "themed" areas. I had never seen magnolia trees before and I was enchanted by them. I also had the privilege of watching some butterflies dance among the cherry blossoms. I am pretty sure I spent at least 15 minutes watching the butterflies. It was so magical and mesmerizing. Even during winter, it was quite warm and beautiful.
